Winemaker Dinner

I am thrilled to announce a fantastic winemaker dinner. But first, our TGIF wine his week is the 2020 Lafond Syrah. TGIF= $30/bottle. Let me know if you want to pick up, stash, or ship.

On Saturday, October 14th, at 6 pm, at the Mission Club in Lompoc, please join us as Chef Justin West pairs an incredible meal with some of our Fall release wines. There is limited seating, so please purchase your tickets ASAP. Here are the details. $125/person includes a seven-course dining experience with seven different Transcendence wines. Tax and tips are also included in the price. You can purchase tickets in the tasting room or directly through me by responding to this email.

Justin West: Proprietor of Market Forager, Private Chef, Culinary Director at The Mission Club in Lompoc, CA

 
With an unwavering passion for the culinary arts, Justin West has become an esteemed figure in the world of food and hospitality, particularly here in Santa Barbara County. Justin's culinary journey commenced in Eugene, Oregon, where he was immersed in the kitchen from a tender age, working alongside his father, Mike West, a seasoned chef. This early exposure ignited a culinary spark that would define his 30-year career.
Justin's relentless pursuit of culinary excellence led him to Le Cordon Bleu in San Francisco, where he earned an Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) in Hotel & Restaurant Management. Equipped with this solid foundation, he embarked on his own culinary odyssey, eventually finding his home in Santa Barbara in 2007.
Throughout his career, Justin has reached significant milestones, including owning and spearheading acclaimed establishments such as Julienne, Wildwood Kitchen, and Soul Cal Smokehouse right here in Santa Barbara. His culinary prowess garnered recognition, with Julienne earning two stars from the LA Times. Justin even had the privilege of preparing meals for the iconic Anthony Bourdain on two memorable occasions.
As a specialist in all things meat and seafood, Justin's expertise extends to crafting unforgettable dining experiences, hosting wine dinners, orchestrating dinner parties, and mastering the art of outdoor cooking. His unwavering commitment to quality and his profound love for food radiate through each meticulously prepared dish. This culinary passion extends to his current venture, Market Forager, a home delivery service offering the finest selection of meats and seafood sourced from the wholesale market.
Beyond the confines of the kitchen, Justin discovers tranquility in the great outdoors, sharing adventures with his family through camping, fishing, skiing, hiking, mountain climbing, and surfing. This profound connection to nature serves as the wellspring of his holistic approach to cooking and service. For Justin, food quality reigns supreme, and every endeavor is infused with intention and love.
